Mee Rebus

Ingredients -
1. 2 big onions
2. 5 cloves of garlic
3. 2 tablespoons of taucoh
4. 1 stalk of lemon grass (bottom half blend, upper half titik)
5. 3 tablespoons of groundnuts
6. 1 inch belacan
7. 1 inch lengkuas (titik)
8. 300g meat (tetelan) - to be made into broth
9. 2 to 3 tablespoons of curry powder (meat)
10. Corn starch (2 teaspoon)
11. Gula melaka (1 buku kecil)

How to cook it?
1. Blend items 1 to 6 and tumis together with the curry powder
2. Add the lengkuas and upper half of lemon grass
3. Add in the broth and the meat bit by bit. Do not add all the broth at one go lest it gets too watery. Need not necessarily use all of the broth
4. Add the gula melaka (the gula melaka will make the mixture darker... but it's yummier than using castor sugar)
5. Mix the corn starch with a little water and add into the mee rebus mixture
6. If it is still too watery, alternative is to add some more groundnuts or corn starch (i prefer groundnuts to make it crunchier)
7. If it is not salty enough, add a little bit more taucoh or salt. If u add taucoh dont add salt

Comments: Recipe is from my mum and it turned out yummy!!!! And it's very easy to cook :o)
